Zebra CoreScanner Driver by Zebra Technologies is a Windows system component that enables reliable communication between Zebra barcode scanners and PC applications. Installed as part of the Zebra Scanner SDK, it provides the CoreScanner service and necessary USB drivers to detect, enumerate, and manage both corded and cordless scanners (including those connected via a cradle).

By exposing a unified programming interface, CoreScanner lets applications do much more than simple keyboard-wedge input. Developers can capture barcode data, control the trigger, manage device parameters, update firmware, access imaging functions, monitor battery and device health, and retrieve diagnostics—consistently across a wide range of supported Zebra models.
